For anyone who sprays finishes, this gun-mounted pressure regulator is the best I have found. I bought one a few years ago and it was about $45. It is now on Amazon for $11. Made in USA and is a real regulator instead of an orifice valve, which is more common and less precise.

I use the same one on two different guns, and it works well. Great discount at the moment.

It seems like a store or the manufacturer may be going out of business. The regulator I ordered looked like it had been hanging on a shelf for some time.

I got a digital Sata one free as a bonus when I bought my Sata minijet 15+ years ago. I really like it and it's nice to adjust and know exact pressure at the gun. Just checked the prices on the newest Sata Adam version and holy heck are they pricey! 300+ Euros.

Is there another source on Amazon? I can't find. Is dial glass?

I am in need of some wall mounted filter/regulator combos. Would love to use dessicant based in one part. Anybody got one that they think is really good?

Mike

I just installed this : PneumaticPlus PPC3C-N02G 3 Stage... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016XIWHGM?re ... b_ap_share

And then this right after it in the line: DeVilbiss 130525 QC3 Air Filter... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002PR8ZXK?re ... b_ap_share

Here is the setup:

Works great!

I do, too. I can't vouch for it yet in terms of performance, because I have not sprayed a project yet with this in the system, but it gets good reviews. It was easy to install.

I’ve had mine for 10 years and it’s worked well for me.

I checked mine and the dial does appear to be glass which surprises me. The regulator housing is glass reinforced plastic.

If there was another source on Amazon it would show up in a search but it appears there is none. A google search shows it's in stock at a lot of other retailers but it is going for around $60.

I saw the QC3 for the first time when you were giving a tour of your shop during the monthly zoom meeting. :) Thanks again!

I use the cheap Chinese Harbor Freight regulators at the gun. I don't know how accurate they may be - I just turn the knob until the gun is spraying like I like it to spray. They used to be 5 bucks but now they are $9 unless you catch a sale.
