Regarding the parasites that are visiting us I have reported the posts to Lance and he must be out of pocket, hope he is OK.

We can help ourselves simply by participating in any thread that was not posted by the parasites and causing it to rise to the top of the stack. That's what I am going to do now with a few and you can too.

:D

Maybe I'm not frequenting the right subforums, but I haven't run across threads started by louses for a while. Has there been an uptick in them recently?

The other side of the coin for how to deal with them is to not post any replies in them at all. Just ignore. That will also drive them down the list.

I just realized he's only posting in Fixtures Jigs and Picture tutorials.
It only annoys those of us using the View active topics button.

Yep good advice J. They posted at least 17 new threads and for those of us who click on "View Active Topics" for several days we could only see the spam posts there were so many of them. At this very moment until I hit send one of them is currently at the top of the stack.

The is the worst spam attack in OLF history too in terms of number of threads and the perpetrator, the parasite's been back and has posted in their own threads driving them back up to number one in active topics. They are here now likely and reading this too.

Lance is on it by the way I'm in touch with him.

Thanks J.

Exactly and I use it as do many of us who are very busy and have to filter stuff here to only the latest and greatest for time constraint reasons.

Hey Chris: Lance is on it and could not find the posts either because of the forum the perp used but he's on it now and someone is getting booted, thankfully.

These fools must be compensated on how many loads they drop.... not on the results from the spam because none of us are prospects for the crap they are selling.

As I was reading this topic, two of those spam posts disappeared from my feed. Looks like Lance is on the hunt. Thanks Lance!

Yeah that was Lance I've been in contact with him on Facebook. Because of the forum the perp used Lance didn't see these last night, understandable, obscure forum.

This guy has been doing the same thing on the Ibanez Collectors World forum, BangShift.com forum, Seymour Duncan Users Group forum, Antique Automobile Club of America forum, Studebaker Drivers Club forum, and a political forum I visit on a daily basis. He needs to be chopped up and fed to feral animals.
