Hi, I'm building Tinozza Acoustic Bass (fretless), my plan from RM Motolla and I need sugesstion. When I make side sound port (as a main sound hole).
At top sound board no sound hole. is the fan bracing need to compensate or just like the plan? thank you [uncle]

Hello Herry,

No changes are needed to the top bracing for this soundhole placement. I would strongly suggest that the soundhole area in the ribs should be considerably reinforced though. Best of luck.
