 Post subject: Octave Mandolin Build

I just finished this build and shipped it to it's new owner. Thought you might like to see some pics as it's not that common an instrument. Certainly threw up some build challenges.

Thanks. I've only made 2 archtop's before and this was not really more challenging it was just that I had a period where if something was going to go wrong - it did. I found a tapered dovetail impossible to fit so I re-routed the neck block and used a straight dovetail and it worked fine. Just meant I had to make a new neck as well [headinwall]
