I have the body in the jig, all squared up, dial indicator at bridge location. Zeroed out. My bridge height is usually 3/8". Fingerboard 0.25", fret height is 0.039" Top is radiused 28 ft. Upper bout is flattened (no curvature across or down to sound hole). I understand that the jig automatically takes out the curvature of the lower bout. If my top were perfectly flat, If I recall, I am aiming for 1/16" projection above bridge at saddle location). 0.289 on fingerboard/fret, 3/8+1/16 at bridge slot. 0.289 - 0.4375 = -0.1485. Therefore I want to tilt body till dial indicator indicates +0.1485".

Am I remembering correctly?

Mike

(when I said zeroed out above, I adjusted table pitch until dial indicator was once again at zero). From here, do I tilt until i see +0.1485?

(just noticed someone here recommended 3/32" above bridge, resulting in 0.17975")

(ok, -0.1485, I got sign of direction wrong)
