Evening Seattle area builder friends,

Who's planning to attend the meeting at the Gurian shop, and are you bringing something for the auction?

Anyone want to get a beer and tacos at the Sloop Tevern before the meeting?

Best, M

Did somebody say beer and tacos? Count me in.

I'm going to have to take a look around to see if I have something I want to bring to the auction.

When?, 6:00, 5:30, 3:00?! I'm up for whatever! 3:00 may be a bit ambitious....?

Well, they open at 11 AM, but 5:00 or 5:30 would work for me.

Brad--

I'm 3.5 hours away from Cincinnati (Charleston, WV), but I would be up for the drive if such an event is set up. For that matter, I would be open to traveling to any city within a half day's drive: Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Lexington . . .

I think I can make it. I'm not sure what I might have to add to the auction. Will have to ponder that for a while.

Cool!

That's the whole crew as far as I know. Hopefully Pat can make it!

It was great seeing all of you fellas last night. Once I realized how many items were being prepped for the auction it became clear that I didn't have enough time to stick around and since I really don't need the temptation of good deals on wood and/or tools, I left before the hammer started to fall. I trust all went well for those of you who stayed.

The next time we meet at The Sloop, please remind me the size of those darned tacos before I order. I'm still full!

Hope to see you again soon!

George :-)

P.S. Jay and Pat: Here's a snap of that koa set I'm working with currently.

The wood in the auction was really top notch. I brought home way to much. There was a really good collection of tools as well.

It was great seeing you all. We should get together more often! I've been thinking about 3/64" action all day LOL

I made like a brace and split before the auction started too. It felt weird, I left and all my money was still in my pocket!
