Here is here is one based on a J-185 with sapwood cedar top with marquetry rosette.
I call this guitar "The Orange Creamsicle".

The top on this guitar is aromatic red cedar.
Usually this species of wood grows very small with a lot of knots in it so it was a rare find to find a quarter sawn board wide enough for guitars.
The back is a killer piece of quilted maple the picture shows just water on it.

Thanks, Hesh!
I always wanted to do a big batch like this so now that I have tried it seems to be working really well and it's improved my efficiency I also like it because I get to try a lot of different things.

I love the Stella clones. May I ask how you string and tune them?

Hi Freeman,

I usually tune them in octaves for the lower 4 and unisons for the top 2.
but this particular one, I tuned the 3rd set in unisons.

I tune them down 4 (C) or 5 (B) half steps.
