This one is in great shape. It just needs cleaning. some setup and a little help on the switch. Unless the owner finds the pickguard which he says was potato chipped....
I have narrowed the mfg year down to 1971 or 72 based on the serial number and the color, which supposedly was not available until 71.
I have not been able to find any info on differences to tell if it is 71 or 72 and Kalamazoo or Nashville. Anybody have any suggestions for further narrowing down the pedigree?

It must be rare, I thought all customs were black from that era? Does it make a difference in value kalamazoo or Nashville?

1972 was the year of the embossed pickup covers. Those guitars are pretty easy to pick out because of this!
