Hello,

I wanted to thank all the folks on the forum for their help. This is the first Uke I've built from scratch. I built one of the SM soprano kits for my first instrument and have since completed two guitars from scratch. This is my first Uke from scratch.

The details:

- Built from GLS Tenor Uke plan
- Bocote Back, sides, fretboard, bridge and rosette
- Bearclaw Sitka spruce top
- Honduran mahogany neck
- Ebony and maple binding and purfling
- Pegheds tuning pegs
- Tung oil finish

This was built for my sons guitar teacher who is also a wonderful ukulele player. Looking forward to hearing him make it sing. Will post some recordings of it being played at a later time.

That is a sweet looking Ukulele, I love the woods that you have in it. Wow!

Very nice. I like that low-gloss finish, seems to make the grain really stand out

Thanks! iPhone and a black backdrop I got from Amazon for 40 bucks. :D

I shot these with outside light. Some came out better than others.

That's a great looking uke. The bocote looks fantastic. I really like the design of your bridge. It's simple and elegant. Everything works together.

You must have the special optional excellent photo attachment for your i-phone. ;) You did a great job with that backdrop and the lighting.

I think that's wonderful. It's beautiful in its own right, but it's also a soprano, which I really like about it. There are so many tenors on various threads. Nothing wrong with tenors, of course, but it's REALLY nice to see a soprano treated like a high quality instrument.

They were the 7.5mm IIRC.

Very nice Brad, I like the color contrasts. I'm building my wife one that will be done in a couple weeks. I'll post it then.
