OK - Got hold of an Epiphone Chet Atkins SST with the Shadow pickup (Nanoflex?).... and someone really butched up the pickup and the electronics. They pulled the wire out of the pickup, and it just doesn't want to be fixed. Also, some knothead got to the guitar before me and tried to replace one of the tone pots, not only using the wrong type, but shorting out the circuit board in the process.

I can get the pot and circuit board squared away, but I think the pickup is toast. Does anyone have any NOS parts for these guitars? Apparently Epiphone can't be bothered anymore, and from what I gather - Shadow may not offer the old style pickup.

Can I simply use another under saddle piezo pickup, or is it worth the hassle to retrofit all new stuff? The rest of the guitar seems to be quite usable - neck good, body just a few nicks and cracks.

Theres a seller in Canada on that infamous auction site called bezdez
who has shadow undersaddle pickups and lots of shadow parts, sometimes-
might find something there. I think any old undersaddle thing would work.
I think the shadow ones kinda looked like vintage braided 2 conductor pickup wire didn't they?
They probably have those amongst others.
They sell internationally too.
Ive gotten many parts form them over the years. Very honorable folks.

Bought lots of stuff from Bezdez on eBay.
I'll check it out.

OK, the pickup fits down inside this plastic channel - it's very narrow.
Just any old piezo ain't gonna work, without a lot of dance steps and pain.
Anyone want the husk of this thing?
