Would there be any interest on splitting up a gross of string sets from the bulk order offer Lance is setting up? I don't go through a ton of strings but could go in for a dozen sets of PB lights.

I know some of you guys make a lot more guitars than I do; I'm not sure how many sets you go through. . . If we had enough people interested to justify an order, we could distribute them at the show in April. Thoughts?

Okay guys and gals, it is time to start getting serious. We have 1 month before the show. I'm going to have to start getting things together and I need (at least) a ballpark estimate of how many will be there. The only way to truly get that is to have you register. I have heard many people talk about attending and I'm sure they all intend to, but I don't see them registered. I get it, I usually wait until the last min. too for stuff like this and I get that some of you may not yet know if you can make the trip. That's fine. But if you do know and intend to come, please fill out the registration form.

I just sent my payment in this evening, so count me in. I had a blast there 2 years ago, but unfortunately couldn't make it last year. I did however still gladly pay my entry fee because I think it's a great event for local builders in and around the St. Louis area to get together, and I'm happy to show my support for the show and the great guys that bust their asses every year to put this event together. I see we got a few new registrations! I hope to order the tables by the end of the week so I don't miss out on delivery and pickup (at a certain point all their trucks are spoken for and I have to take a couple of vacation days and borrow a truck). I can still add to the order after I place it but it would be nice to be as close to the final number as possible. There are a few OLFers who are close by I'd love to see!

Yep, I finally made up my mind that I will be there Nothing new to show other than some works in progress, but gas is cheap and I don't have to rent a car, so it's a fine time for a road trip. Plus it's great getting to dig through the Hibdon wood hoard in person. Especially necks, since I'm really picky about those, and could use a good stack of walnut.

For table space, I'll at least bring my harp guitar (needs a 4 foot stretch of table to lay on), and depending on whether there's room I could bring an in-progress harp uke and/or guitar.

Excellent Dennis ... Always look forward to your work . The tables are 3'-6' so you should have good room . Bring what you like we WILL make room !

It's not too late for you lurkers to decide to come to the gathering. If you haven't been before, imagine standing in a room surrounded by thousands of back and side sets. That alone is worth the trip. Now imagine a room full of people who's eyes won't glaze over when you start talking about guitar making. Now imagine wining the lottery. We'll see you all tomorrow. The best bet for parking is the gravel lot behind Hibdon. In the past we have used the fenced in lot on the other side of the alley but we are unable to use it this year. As far as we know, there are no motorcycle rallies this weekend
