I am restoring a 1933 L-00 and just got it back from the painter (black finish). This is turning out way better than I ever could have hoped for.

I bought a set of Antique Acoustics Gibson reproduction bridge pins and end pin. They are very nice. They cost $26 with shipping and I only paid $41 for the guitar!

No problems with the bridge pins, but the end pin is too small for the existing hole. Is there a good way to reduce the size of the hole in the guitar?

If it's just slightly undersized you can glue a plane shaving or two to the diameter.

^^^^ And a little sanding should do the trick. Or if you have access to a lathe, you could ream a plug the diameter of the pin. Glue it to the pin, and then turn it down to match.

I might stick with Plan A and glue a nicely fitted plug into the hole and drill and ream it.

That's what I would do, turn a plug, install, ream, fit, call if good.
