So just getting my thread started, bit late to the game so we'll see if I can get finished in time but this is going to be a Gibson L0 sized guitar. It will be by second build, the first being a solid body electric (similar to a PRS).
I'm located in California, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area so the soundboard is going to be redwood while the back, sides and neck are to be Claro Walnut, all native to CA. Not 100% sure what do for the fretboard, my original choice was Bocote as I have some from my previous build. Bocote grows along the west coast of Mexico, so yeah not truly local but not too out there either, other option is some dyed holly. I'll decide a little later down the line.
