I used this for the first time, it says one hour dry time. I waited two hours and started sanding, and sandpaper gummed up. I waited 12 more hours, sandpaper gums up. So I sprayed again since it was lacquer to have the lacquer coats melt and remove some of the scratches.

New build, bare wood sanded to 320 grit, 1.4mm tip spray gun at 40psi at the gun, was not thinned due to its selling point being "use straight from the can."
Have it sitting in a hot room right now to help the sealer dry.

How long does it take this stuff to dry? I am on a tight schedule.

What sandpaper are you using. Sanding sealer will not sand like cured lacquer. there will always be a tendency to pill up a bit. Keeping the sanding dust cleared from the surface as you sand is key or the dust will compact into pills or seeds and clog up the paper and then cause deeper gouges in the surface. It takes a light touch and like everything else there is a learning curve. Also I see that you are on a tight schedule....That is just not conducive to good finish work. The lacquer will run on it's own schedule without any care for yours, rushing the process will yield less than hoped for results.

Im gonna spray it with a 2K clear. I am using 3M sandpaper, I will try to lighten the touch, I have used other sanding sealers and they have been great. Even the reranch aerosol was awesome. This crap is something I will never use again nor recommend.

Vinyl sealer and sanding sealer are two different things. Vinyl sealer should need only a minor sanding to knock down nibs and to create a mechanical bond for the top coats (assuming the window for top coat application has expired, the one I have used said a hour I believe). If you are using Vinyl sealer, you may just be doing too much.

I only run 2 part urethanes over an epoxy sealer. I would recommend some test panels to verify functionality of that combination.

3M makes all types of paper, garnet, aluminum oxide, srterated.....you need a good no load paper. Should be a white/grey color.

All the vinyl sealers I have ever used have also been sanding sealers.
