Hi guys,

I need a simple 3D drawing, and since I don't have the time to learn any 3D software, I will subcontract it to someone. So I thought I'd ask here first.

The drawing is for an article I'm about to write about helical shaped fretboard (or when the taper is not the same on both sides of the fretboard). I need an exaggerated view of such a fretboard, in 3D.

I have sketched in Paint a draft of what I want:

So the same thing as in the sketch, only with frets, and possible looking a bit cooler than my Paint drawing...;)

Anyone interested?

Thanks!

Do you need an actual 3D model, or would an isometric rendering (as you've shown in your sketch) be adequate?
A 3D model would be compatable with CNC manufacturing, and could not be exaggerated.
The isometric rendering is just a picture, and can be exaggerated.
I'd be willing and able to do either one, but if you want a 3D model I'd need to confirm the software I use is compatable with your CNC.

Hi Rodger, and thankls for replying that quickly!

What I actually need is probably several isometric extractions of a 3D model. At the end, I just need a few isometric views, but I'm not sure what point of view will be the best. And since I will not run this in any CNC whatsoever, you can exagerate the 3D nodel without any issue.
