@Ken +1 it looks like your cad guy did a really thorough job. Your guitars look fantastic. You seem to like the high difficulty stuff. So does Saul. I have a '63 that I need to refret and remove the bigsby and rocker from so that I'll want to play it more.

Thanks, yes Dan is an extremely capable CAD drawer and engineer.

You should see some of the violin plates that he is designing. He is getting scary close to the Cremonese method.

A 63 ES 335? Email me if you need any help or have questions.

Yes '63 block 335. It had a good headstock repair when I got it.

Here's a caveman digitizing method. Used to have a 1/2" piece of plexiglass with a hole for the bridge but reused it for something. The contour guage can leave marks so some drafting tape underneath is recommended. This one is 1mm tines and the curve can be traced onto graph paper and scanned with the 3-1 printer and brought into cad.

Nice set up. I was going to make one of those and try to set a cheap laser in a little holder. That way I could put some cheap plexi on top, go around with the laser, around the perimeter and shine it on just the edge, replace with a pen and mark a point. do this for all the landmarks, bridge, pickup routes, etc... How does that sound? anyone tried it? I don't think I will be getting a digital laser or anything soon.

What year is that, is it a 175?
