I like the F-hole. It fits the style very nice.

The knobs angled and close....I'd have to play it to know for sure.
I definately prefer function first.
If it's not a hassle to spin them I think either layout looks good.
If I couldn't get my fat finger inbetween them I wouldn't like it.

Love the Set up . I like the F-Hole as you have it and I agree that the moved knobs do look better . That will be a striking build !

Ah...thanks all.

I prepped and glued the body panels last week. I'll be cutting these bodies next week. Neck parts are all done and ready for gluing.

I'm making four of these initially:

Maple facings over Sapele.

Bubinga over Bamboo.

Claro Walnut over Maple.

and Myrtlewood over Peruvian Walnut.

I got pounded with aviation machine work...making hay while the sun shines...as they say.

I'm hoping for the day when it seems better to bag the aviation stuff and do guitars instead....not yet so far.
