Well folks, the time has come. It's finished (well almost, I'm still waiting for the neck pickup to arrive). It's also only got 5 strings right now just to test it etc, but when I get the other pickup fixed to it, it'll get a brand new set of strings and I'll post a few more.

I would just like to send out a massive thanks to all and sundry for your advice, suggestions and good wishes and comments over the last nearly 12 months. The guitar is far from perfect, there are blemishes all over the place, however you would expect that from your first few attempts, and as has been mentioned previously they add to the character of the build. The trick, as I'm sure you would all agree, is to learn from them... :roll:

Anyway, now to concentrate on the Lap Steel I'm building, which has to be done by Xmas... :D

The missing neck pickup reminds me of Rogerc108's first one. If I remember correctly, he ended up liking the look and kept it that way.
