Woohoo! Glad you're back in. And you know, you could save an additional ~$7 by switching to an Allied truss rod, since they're only $16 or $17 if bought 6 at a time. But no matter, I still say don't worry about it in any case.

Looks like an awesome build. Also cool that arch top/flat back instruments seem to be catching on. Well, at least Phillip's winning uke last time was that style, and now this. I've always thought arched backs on guitars seemed like a whole lot of wasted work and wood. I mean sure, it makes it look like a violin, but I can't see any sonic benefit. It makes sense in bowed instruments since the soundpost needs a strong surface to anchor against, but a flat plate with braces seems more effective for the function of guitar backs.

Now... prepare to be defeated :twisted: :lol:

Chris I really like your ideas that fret board is amazing! I'm not sure if I understood the location of your flower inlay but if it were me I wouldn't touch that fret board it has such a natural design aesthetic.
