So here is a quick throw together scrap wood strat. Fresh off the cnc, still need to do the belly carve and arm relief. I will do those by hand it's faster. :) started this Friday, almost no work on it Saturday and a few hours today. All total maybe 8 hr's so far. using a strat neck from a pulloff I got cheap. Waiting on a set of tuners. have a pickguard with H/H setup and using a hardtail.

so many think that having a CNC, everything we do is done on it. Yes I could do the belly carve and arm relief with the cnc, but it is just faster to do it by hand. I cut those on the bandsaw and finish up with sanding, maybe 10mins to 15mins of work at most. I still like getting my hands dirty. :)

So the RATocaster is technically done, just needs strings and a setup. I may later put an oil finish on it, it has a seal coat of shellac on it now. :) Only 18.5 hrs in this. bliss
