Hey guys, its been awhile since I've been over here, (or built anything for that matter) but I thought I'd share some pics of my latest project.
The concept basically came from the hofner violin basses, full hollowbody, 30" scale, narrow string spacing etc.
Carved spruce top, maple back, lacewood sides (laminated with walnut on the inside), maple neck, birds eye maple fingerboard, holly binding... finish is french polish.

A better frontal would be nice. Looks pretty cool though, very unique shape. I like it.
