Hi all... ok, so i got a request for building a bass for an old friend of mine, pro-bass player, As you may know I have only built acoustics so far, so this is my first attempt at building a bass.
Here are some photos of the progress so far.
I am waiting for the electronics....

Mike Pope Preamp
ETS bridge
Delano J-style Pickups.
way cool. :P .
2 pieces carbon rods
Sapele/myrtle/maple neck
Myrtle top and bottom.

"Not glued together" but it might give an idea of how she will look. [:Y:]

Nice woods and shape!
I like the shapes of your acoustics as well.
Just different enough, and tasteful.

I like the body and headstock shape. To me....those are the most important artistic aspects of a design and you nailed it....according to my tastes anyway. :)

Thanks alot Zlurgh... [:Y:]
It was supposed to be a headless design at first, but then my buddy changed his mind,I had already cut out the endpart for the headless design. now as its not a headless design, I really wish I could redo that part haha. would have been even better design withour that part cut out... :? :D
