Hello everybody ... My first time on forum...

I have question for everyone:

Could it be that some acoustic guitar under saddle piezo's sensor pad's dont have the same output level ?

I tried everything, and i always get one string sounding more louder than all else together... PS: this piezo is cheap Chinese product...

I did next: first i got 1st string a lot louder....then i drilled hole on the other side of bridge and installed piezo otherwise...now i have 6. string much louder then else....

Logicaly: one sensor has much louder output then others...

File the wire hole a little bigger, it's not seated all the way down so the rest of the pickup has less pressure than the end, where it's sitting on the wire.

This is acoustic guitar with undersaddle piezo and active electronic (level pot) with 4 band EQ...Whatever i do, some string are sounding a lot louder than others...I suspect that piezo sensors simply don't have same output power...

What is the saddle material? That can make a difference. Sometimes by "notching" the saddle where it sits in the slot to create a foot for each string can help balance them out.

the saddle is some white plastic ("artificial bone" or something)... I am almost sure that there is some diference in output signal between sensors...in last case 2. string is ringing louder that 6. ...

Swap out the transducer and see if the problem goes away. Also check that the bottom of the saddle slot is flat and smooth.

In my experience this issue has not been a pickup problem. The channel and the bottom of the saddle needs to be very flat. Make sure the wire hole is big enough for the pickup to set flat. Clear the slot of any thing that may in there and verify it is flat. Flatten the bottom of the saddle. If all else fail slightly notch under the loud string.

I had a Martin in yesterday with the same issue. I cleaned the slot and flattened the bottom of the saddle. Sounded good after that.

I got it ... I flattened saddle slot and sanded saddle bottom straight and now all strings sound equal... Bingo

I have another question for everyone:

When this acoustic guitar was without strings, looking from the bottom of the guitar, space between bridge and guitar top was 0mm... now I installed 0.012-0.054 bronze strings and, after 2-3 days, i notice split about 1mm wide between guitar top and bridge... the split is only in center part of bridge , ends didn't split from body top...

Questions are:

1. Is this serious problem ?
2. Should I apart this bridge and reglue it again ?
3. Do I have to worry about this, if I put 0.009 strings ?

Sounds like the bridge is pulling off. I would remove and re-glue it.
