Hello,

This isn't really anything fancy but I figured I would post it here. Most of you might get a laugh out of it.

When I was on my internship they had me on switch shifts. The first time I was switching to nights I was trying to stay awake and was wandering around walmart at 2 AM. I saw a yard stake next to an address plaque and was like hmm...

This was the result:

It turned out pretty neat but I wanted to be able to plug it in, so I found a cheap pick up and got to work with another stake and address plaque.

Parts included:

2 wooden yard stakes
2 address plaques
1 gold picture hanger with a hole carved in it to hold the string
2 regular picture hangers to serve as strap buttons
2 bolts and nuts to serve as bridge/nut
1 guitar tuner
1 cheap single coil pickup
1 output jack
4 nails

Over all it was a fun little project and a great conversation piece.

Hope you guys got a kick out of it.

I find it hilarious.

Gotta ask about your pickup placement.... I did that once years ago fooling around with a junk guitar, and was not impressed with the resulting tone. What were your results?

Haha yeah it's a fun little toy. As far as the tone from mounting the pick up like that, I can't really comment on to be honest. I may make a quick little clip and let you hear it.

Surprisingly woody when clean.
Great fat slide tones with the distortion.

Two thumbs up!
