I love the epoxy/CA look on fretless boards. Very nice work. I really dig that carbon fiber top.

They sure pose well for their close-ups, don't they? Two very fine looking instruments. In particular, the sleek simplicity of that fretless bass is just beautiful. As several others have said, these are elegant. I think the bass almost takes "elegant" to a new level!

No secrets here. First I applyed epoxy on the body and let it set for a while. When epoxy still sticky,applying carbon fiber to the body and then applyed another coat of epoxy.Then let it dry and level sand . Applie more epoxy if needed untill surface is level. Then bursted with black paint and poly laqcuer over it.

in the bass headstock foto, the strings appear to be dark/black in color....what is this? are they wrapped in non metal, for fretless playing? sorry i am not current with technology so much...

Yes they are GHS black plastic coated strings for fretless basses
