Hello I have been building and repairing stringed instruments since I was eleven and in that time I have never attempted a neck thru before. So now I'm 16 and I finally have enough shrapnel and old notes in my pocket I have decided to give it a shot. So far I have begun to make a 1:1 scale drawing; my problem is that i have forgotten how to find my neck angle needed to give a good action. So i decided to come here to see if i could delve into this vast pit of knowledge and experience. If it helps i also repair old denon, technics, sony and other hi-fi amps and I'm also currently building a 53' Bantam-kawasaki-triumph trials hybrid :)

Ah, youth and enthusiasm. That's quite a list there Digg.

Draw the guitar in profile showing the fretboard strings and bridge. All will become clear.

Ditto.
Draw the fretboard, strings and body from the side view,
and the bridge at it's highest and lowest setting, then go from there.
You might not even need a neck angle if you work it out right.
So, you are building a 53 foot long motorcycle? laughing6-hehe

Go to Stewart MacDonald's site if you need the dimensions for the bridge.
