That's not funny! I regret showing you my "Arguing Geckos" guitar before it was complete.

The pickup was DOA. The wire bundle had a puncture near the base of the pickup, which severed one of the wires. Virgil's wiring was dead on to the schematic, and his solder joints were good. Since two luthiers had looked at the guitar prior to me, I figured the diagram was faulty. After I installed the PRS 5-way rotary, and it had the identical problem, I checked the pickups with my multi-meter and noticed the bridge pickup had a bad coil. Pulled the pickup out, and noticed a tiny nick in the insulation. Stripped the insulation off a little, and viola, bad wire. Spliced them back together, and done. No biggie.

DUUUDE!
That is one of the most sickest builds I have ever seen. I really don't know where to start with the questions, like, how long did it take you? Does it play well? Do the "Lizard" tongues flip up and down when you hit 220 beats per minute on your reversed arpeggios in E flat? And last but not least, are you going to Disney now? laughing6-hehe
