I just finished my first build (pics later) and I am hooked ...

I want to begin construction on a 12 string. Are there any special considerations other than the obvious: bridge, saddle, nut, extra tunners and extra long headstock.

I'm just wondering if the truss rod should be of a heavier make, or if the neck should be a little thicker. I used a scarf joing for my last headstock (Gibson style). Just wondering if a different headstock would be a better/stronger choice, but I like the Gibson style better.

Thanks,

Jeff

Just don't use any big old Grovers for tuners.
It will be neck heavy, big time!
