New Maple Day!
Got a very long and wide board with awesome figuring, big enough to do 3 one piece tops
The rest are boards that I can either bookmatch, or use to make cavity covers.

BTW, if anyone is interested in some sapele (19" long x 14" wide x 2" thick) I have 13 great quality body blanks I am looking to get rid of for 90 bucks shipped in the continental US.

It's safe to say the man has obtained some curly maple.

I got a bunch of figured myrtlewood drop tops on the way.

Either I am insane on my pricing or people aren't crazy about sapele like I am.

I love it too. I just recieved enough 8/4 sapele to make about 26 guitars.....that's bodies AND necks.....along with four 12' maple boards for $850. Really nice grain and contrast. Take out the maple and the sapele that I'll use for necks and I got 26 bodies for about $550 or so. That's about $21 a body. You have to buy a lot to get that deal but it still suggests that $100 for a body is a little hopeful.

It's a nice chunk of wood but I think $60-$70 is a more realistic price. I'm assuming there's a premium placed upon continuous pieces although I like bookmatched bodies myself.

You need to hook me up with your wood supplier.
This was all 8/4 sapele cut from the same board, I am asking just about what I paid for all of it.

The wording on the original post was probably wrong.
Jimmy, the wording makes it sound like you want to sell all 13 for $90.
I calculated about 48 board feet there,
x $5 a board foot is $240.
Don't know if my math is right.
$5 a board foot is about what mahog goes for around this area.
Probably a bit more.

Well, it's finally started selling, and no, that isn't 13 blanks for 90$. I wish I could get them that cheap.
