I just love this forum. Met some really cool people and had some questions answered quickly and very helpful.

I find the lay out of the site, however, a little annoying. I am wondering why there is so much stuff (ie. graphics, links, ads, brown bars) above the forum threads. It means having to scroll down considerably on every page. It just makes navigating and reading a little more work.

Is this something the webmaster has control over? I'm guessing that the ads help keep the site up, so I shouldn't complain [uncle]

Just wondering ....

J

You guessed it. Those are all OLF sponsors. For the first few months here, it was a hassle for me, too. But as you begin building more and more, you'll realize it's actually really convienient. We have a good group of sponsors that can supply just about anything you need to build a guitar. All good quality and good prices. It's nice to have that big banner of shortcuts to go to when you need something.

I will have to visit some of them. So far, I am only familiar with Stewmac.

Hit the space bar and you'll scroll down most of that distance.

Just click on the little "view first unread post" icon (preceeding each thread title) & you'll go to...... you guessed it! (If you click on the title, you'll go to the top of the page.)
