Spent the weekend at the Coppers Glenn Festaival In Kalamazoo Mich. I heard several great bands play and was honored to have My table beside Fred Tellier, and Mark Swanson for the weekend . Great guys , both helped me look at some possible ways to improve my products and for that I am gratefull .

I met several excellent musicans that were kind enough to play my instruments and give me honest feedback . I asked them to be honest and not hold back , broud shoulders and thick skin :D

Almost to a man , the feedback was the same . The instruments sounded very good , good tone and playability , good sustain .

The dividing line was very clear , ALL of the feed back was , "Country" , "Folk" , "Celtic" excellent choice for a hybrid Mandola . " Bluegrass " , not so much !

I listened to a group named " Corn Fed Girls " Great music ! The Mandolin player was absolutely fantastic . He took several minutes with the Mando and was very encouraging in his review .

All this having been said , there were luthiers present that made my stuff look like the begginer I am ! :D

If you havent had a chance to go , by all means do so . Excellent music , excellent people , its well worth the time !

It was nice to meet you there, Wud. (I am in the 4th pic, everybody, sitting next to Mark).

I was impressed by the young man with the fan fret guitar also. His name is Bryant Gingerich.
