Hello, I need answer: what you thing if I use rosewood for nut or stop tailpiece for electric guitar? Thank's

i was thinking of doin that myself... i might pick-up a used lp semi-hollow tomorrow maybe i will cut a stop tail outta spare quilted-maple see how it turns out

Rosewood could be okay... but it's going to wear out quickly.. a few weeks if you play a lot. Well, there are some rosewood that are harder than others... But you defenitly want something more dense.. like ebony, snakewood, ironwood.. Bloodwood cant be really hard too, coco also.

thank's a lot,... what about teak?

Teak is as dense as maple or some rosewood... I would go with ebony, and if you don't want something black, take Lignum vitea ( ironwood), snakewood or pernambucc. These are the densest woods.

thank's Francis, may be I'll try Teak, unfortunatedly in local area here, not many types of wood that can be obtained.
