Hello. I've been reading and preparing for my first electric build. I built a kit prior.
I have a shoppingcart full at StewMac of the following except for the pups, bridge and tailpiece
that I got elsewhere. I'm currently still shopping for a body blank. I think I have everything else.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Medium Fretwire
Gibson 24-3/4" Scale Fingerboard - Rosewood
Electric Guitar Neck Blank - Plain maple
Gotoh Oval Knob Tuners - Chrome, 6-in-line
Black Pickguard Material - 0.059"
Black Tusq XL Nut
Strap Buttons - Chrome
Conductive Copper Tape - 3/4" wide
Gibson Truss Rod
Wiring Kit, with Toggle Switch, Pots, Capacitor, output jack
2 Dome Knob - Chrome, 6mm shaft
2 epiphone 57 Humbuckers
Tune O Matic Bridge and Lock tail piece
Jack Plate
Pickup Height Screws
Humbucker Pickup Height Springs
Plastic Mounting Rings For Humbucking Pickups
Humbucker Mounting Ring Screws
Pickguard Screws
Neck Mounting Plate
Traditional Fender-style String Retainers
Franklin Titebond Glue

Only things I see maybe missing are fretboard marker dots (face and side) and finishing supplies. Good luck with the build, and post pictures when you get going :)

what are you planning to finish it with? you;ll need to think about that at some point, although it can wait a little while. you may want a cover for you truss rod unless you are going to make one.

My plan is to stain it and the use tung oil. I did that with the kit I put together and was rather happy with it.
