Hi folks,
I have several guitars both acoustic and electrics that I have completed over past few years.
When it comes to finishing I have used EM6000 on the last few acoustics....which I seem to like pretty well.
I am working on an electric right now that is Mohagany body and Walnut neck. I have porefilled the body with Zpoxy and sprayed two coats shellac today.
I'm thinking about using minwax wipe-on poly for the top coat finish. Does anyone have any experience using that stuff on your guitars?

I welcome any opinions!!

Thanks,
Jeff

I used Varathane diamond something something waterbased polyurethane from the hardware store on my first electric, and it turned out well enough and buffed up well with micromesh by hand. Still, it does have that blue cast to it and it's absurdly vulnerable to solvents.
