Can anyone put me onto an economical source for carbon fiber neck reinforcement rods? I bought some a while back from a then-OLF sponsor and apparently lost the contact information (wasn't Stew-Mac or LMI). I don't see any names in the sponsors' list that jog my memory.

Thanks,
Max

I found Goodwinds to be an excellent source for CF for necks, as well as fiberglass rods and rubber tips for Gobars.

Los Alamos as well, and Jim has been a member of our community from very early on! He makes guitars and knows what they need!

I was under the impression Los Alamos Composites was going out of business, I believe they still have some stock left but are not getting any new stuff in. I am not 100% sure on that though, can anyone confirm or deny this? Sorry if I am mistaken

If you want hollow carbon fiber rods, check at an archery supply store. They have old arrows in for refletching that you can get for next to nothing. I am using them as buttresses in my 2nd build. Got two rods about 30 inches long for $3 or $4 dollars.

I use CF rods (hollow and solid) and other CF products from Dragonplate also. They seem to have the best prices and have great customer service.
