I am familiar with using/playing electrics, just haven't built one yet (done several acoustics already). I was wondering if there is a reason not to use an acoustic style bridge for an electric. I have resisted building electrics so far because it is nice to be able to hand make most of the parts, like the bridge instead of buying them. I'm thinking that if it is setup correctly, the action and intonation offset will be accurate enough that you won't "need" and adjustable.

I do understand that adjustable-ness is an important point for electrics...every player is different in style and technique and will want to be able to customize it to their preference.

Just thinking...ow. laughing6-hehe
