Anyone out there with a cad file (G-code, etc) for a Gibson ES-335-ish sort of guitar?
A friend who has helped me a ton with my cnc is wanting to build one.
If you have anything you're willing to share, please let me know.

Thanks

Don

I don't have one programmed, but I know a guy who could be bribed with wood to model one up for you ;)

Depends on the amount of work involved, etc. Although I'm pretty much out of doing small-run guitar stuff now, I'm still building up a stash for my own instruments :)

Bob,

I am looking for the g-code of a Les Paul - don´t know what you are interested in, but if you like to trade I can offer apart from European spruce i.e. highly flamed European maple tops for Les Pauls etc.
If interested just have a look: http://picasaweb.google.de/eurospruce/E ... oWalnutEtc

Just send a PM or email in case you see any interest.

Best
Martin

Hi Martin,

If Bob does not have the time available to work on this, I would also be happy to arrange a trade with you ~ some wood for some CAD work. I believe I traded you a very nice European Spruce Top for a CAD file for a carved back for an acoustic a little while ago. That was a great top and really helped make a nice guitar! It was cool to work with as well, it was noticeably different from Sitka.

You can PM me thru this forum if you are interested.
