This is one of my all time favorites from this person.

Clinton, no trick, as I see it.
I think Lance wants the name of the inlay artist.

Steve

Incredible Work!

I can't even fathom the talent required to do such meticulous inlay.

"Eh"?? You've been listening to us Canadian's to long! laughing6-hehe

To Lance and everyone else I'll tell you again.
I can't thank you enough for all the support you have given, and continue to give on this site and in our lives as luthiers, artists, friends, whatever. [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Please make sure we can meet each other in Miami. I may be pretty busy and running around and stuff, and there is a 2 hour class on Saturday that if you have an interest in inlay you should see, it's Grit Laskin, Larry Robinson, Harvey Leach, Chuck Erickson, and me all showing our best works for 2 hours, including discussion etc.. and other things.

I don't think there will be another time soon when you will see all those people in the same place at a single session, especially with three of the top masters in the field, one "Brilliant Inlay manager" who knows them all plus the entire shell industry, and me. idunno

I hope to see you there, and thanks so much again. I sure hope my greatest is yet to come, but honestly if each person loves what was done for them that is equally great too. You'll learn more about all of our thoughts on inlay at the class!
Sincerely,
Craig.

That's one of those inlays where if it had to be done over again not much would change except for maybe using red ab heart for the frills instead of Paua heart. It could work either way.
I remember being pretty excited about the client actually asking for the frilled lizard. He said he wanted something different, and I thought, same here.... and we wound up with him.
bliss

Wait until you guys see what's on the horizon....Big stuff.. eek wow7-eyes

Thanks!!

Craig
