I seem to have forgotten about the purfling for the end graft. I think I only bought enough for the binding only... whoops. Where can I get just .010/.010 B/W purfling - in a small amount? Will it match if I don't buy it through the same person? I don't want the miters to look strange. Suggestions?
Thanks,

The only issue you may have is if the white is fish paper or if it is Maple then there may be some hue difference.

I "think" I might have some in .10/.10...but I'm not sure if it's white or maple. Let us know specifically what you have. I'll check when I get home from work, and if mine matches I'll send you some, no problem.

Bill

PS: I've "heard" that the white can be dulled to maple color by literally dipping it in weak "tea". I've not done that, but I've been told it's a great match.

Hey Bill thanks for the offer. This is a pretty vibrant white but I am unsure of the what the fiber material is.

The fiber material will most likely be what is commonly know as fish paper, be it black or white usually only the white will vary between maple and fish paper. Both are pretty bright white but the fish paper white is just a tad whiter. Hardly noticeable between the two most of the time but some times the maple will be a bit off white.
