JJ,
I think Bob Connor posted recently here on the new forum about them. Seems all the links were broken, IIRC. Seems Brock or Lance posted about fixing that, though I don't know how high up it is on the priority list. HTH.

Many have been fixed, but some, Hesh's, Paul's, and a few others are, somehow, not available because the User Names have either been deleted, or changed. Screwed up the database, I guess. Here is the link to the Page with the links. The ones that say fixed are fixed. The others don't work, or have not been found. If you find one, post it or PM Bob Connor with it, and he'll fix the link.

Thanks, Waddy!

Unfortunately the tute I was looking for is broken. Does anyone know when they will become operational? Thanks

Dunno... but it is on the list.

A lot of the paths have changed and that is why they no longer work. We need to figure out how to identify and repair these en masse.

It is on the list of stuff to do though.

Yep, you'll be able to find the thread, but his entries will not be there, only the responses. No pictures either.

I'm still working on fixing the links but unfortunately it's a one at a time search and replace operation as I think the new software has re-indexed the database, giving each thread a new unique ID in the phpbb database, which makes it impossible to do en masse.

At last count there were around 60 links tutorials. Once I've found them all maybe Lance or Brock can move them into the tutorial section of the new forum.

Some of them I haven't been able to find.

This might be a good point. Maybe things like this, that should be available for posterity, shouldn't be indexed by User Name. A better index could be numerical or title, or something like that, that would not change if someone leaves.

Thank you so much Lillian. I can only hope that we finally can save all of these valuable tutes in a proiminent and accessable location. You and Bob have now gotten us closer to that goal. [clap] [clap] [clap]
