This is driving me nuts. I saw that rosette the other day and I can't remember who made it!

You probably saw the rosette at Grizzly's web site. They sell it. I noticed that when I saw the pictures

Good research !!!! Yep it is a Bellucci, not an ultra high end maker by any means but nice guitars for the price. My granddaughter has a classmate at UNM that plays one and my grand daughter said it plays nice. i have never had one in hand but after finding out this week about the order. I have been doing some research. Seem split down the middle on opinion of their work. I will review it after it gets hers which should be near the end of next week. I saw the pictures of mine have been added to the gallery on their web site. Same pictures he sent Diane.

Billy,

I'm not sure, but he also said "Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much." There's lots more here

I can't wait to hear your assessment. I have wondered about his guitars for over a year now. They are beautiful, and should be excellent.

I am going to give it about 5 days to acclimate a bit before I put tension on it Then I will check his set-up once she is ready to sing I will let you know. looking over the workmanship it look excellent with one exception of the back braces are not sanded near as smooth as I would but no glue globs or anything like that. The label was not glued on and came loose in shipment but that is no biggie Top bracing looks perfect. One little small pin tip inclusion in the finish but all joinery and fret work and perfling work is great.

It sounds good, but the proof is in the playing. Good idea to let it acclimate for a few days.

Well I went over it with a fine tooth comb last night and did find a couple things.

First is, out of all the purfling miters this one is really poor. All the rest of the purfling miters are perfect

The other issue is the lower bout back brace is not in contat with the back plate for a bout 1 1/2". The gap is about .008" I will have to fix this.
