Another vote here for the Shubb. I like that it's not always under tension the way the spring loaded capos like the Kyser are. I had a Kyser slip once as I was removing it from the fretboard and it made a nice little ding in the neck.

ddefinatly schubb, if you know how to use it , and your guitar is set up correctly, you dont need to retune ( most of the time ) Jody

Shubb deluxe for me..I have several. I find once you get used to them, the adjustment is only a few seconds. I have a couple of the Kysers, but I had a spring break on one as I was putting it on...thoughts of having to get a spring removed from my hand kinda scares me.....

My favorite capo ( otherwise known as a "hillbilly crutch" by Mr. Norman Blake ) is a G7. Pricier but very handy. No adjusting, just put it on and squeeze, flip the little lever to take it off. I have a Shubb and theres nothing like realising its not on the high E when you are into a tune... just goin' Bass heavy on this number! Greg.

I've had issues with the Kyser capos making the tuning too sharp. I dont like springs. The G7 and Schubb you can get just the tension you want.

Planet Waves NS here. A complete revelation compared to the old Dunlop's I was using. I bought a couple of them. Lightweight & inexpensive. Get's the job done for me!

Not too sure about their new model though. Might be more efficient, but a little too much going on...
