Hesh inspired me to post some pictures of my latest. Spec's are as follows:

Type: Flamenco
Plantilla: Santos Hernandez
Scale: 650 mm
Back and Sides: Amazing cocobolo from Hibdon
Top: Englemann Spruce
Neck: Spanish Cypress
Fingerboard: Gabon Ebony
Rosette: Miguel Rodriguez Replica

Here's a look at the insides. Transverse bars are Sitka Spruce, Soundhole reinforcement and fingerboard patch are Western Red Cedar, bridge patch is Port Orford Cedar and fan braces are Swiss Spruce. Back linings are Spanish Cedar and top linings are Sitka.

Here's the top.

Closeup of the rosette.

Here's an inside look at the back. Braces are Spanish Cedar. The label is protected with plastic ala my friend Hesh.

Here's what the back looks like from the outside.

Right now the back is going on.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful guitar and craftsmanship Max my friend!!!!  Very impressive and you will get one more clapping hand when we see pics of the completed guitar.

I see what you mean about the light weight bracing - wow.

Yeah, Hesh. Making a flamenco guitar reminds me of making a model airplane. Remember the old balsa and tissue paper ones?

Thanks to all for the kind comments.
