I got up early today and did a road trip to Tony Ferguson's place to pick up my BRW OM.  I was so thrilled when I saw how it came out that I can't wait to show my OLF pals some progress pics.

Besides the 350+ mile drive for me today Tony has a new toy - a bulldozer......  I immediately thought of what my pal James W. B. would do with a bulldozer to help with his guitar building.......  We didn't run over any of the other beautiful guitars there from Paul Woolson, Peter at Cornerstone, or Lance but I did get to drive the bulldozer around and wreak havoc........  This was a first for me and the "decelerator" was a bit difficult to get used to but fear not Tony's shop is still standing as is his home......

Check out this BRW.

I'll post more pics of the completed guitar when I get it done in the next several days or so.

Thanks for looking

Fantastic, Hesh. Just Beautiful. Don't forget to let us know how it sounds when you get some strings on it.

Hesh, I started to make some lame joke about how I "didn't reallyt care for brazilian"...but that wouldn't have even been funny.

That's just awesome there Pal. Exceptional work, on great wood, finished by a great finisher. It's about time you started taking a few commissions, ain't it?

Bill

Oh my goodness - well said Steve. Hesh, it looks spectacular. So glad you didn't put a centre strip on the back. I too like the heel cap!

I keep coming back and looking.  The Stealth Binding is just awesome on this guitar.  This guitar shows exquisite choice of materials, not to mention some mighty fine workmanship.

Thanks folks - I had better chime in here now so I don't have to play catch-up later....

JJ it will be done bro and ready for your critical evaluation.

As to why it looks nice it is the zoot, this BRW is from Brad Goodman.  Tony and I were staring at it and the neck and we are both amazed at the color match between a Mahogany neck and this BRW.  The colors are the same so I lucked out.

Thanks for the comments on the heel cap.  Again it's the zoot I just probably didn't mess it up to badly.

Waddy my friend thanks for noticing the stealth bindings.  It kind of has a dipped in BRW.......  look to it now and I like it a great deal.  There are only three woods on this entire guitar but they are such iconic woods to guitar building that I didn't want to introduce and conflicts.

When it finished the following will be the various woods:

BRW

back/sides
rosette
bridge
head plate
fret board
butt wedge
bindings
heel cap
and...... 3 degree, unslotted BRW bridge pins made by my pal Louis

Adi

Honduran Mahogany

Neck
Neck block
Tail block

Peter buddy $500 for the guitar, the pictures I posted, or the bulldozer?

Many thanks everyone - this is one of the happiest times for me when a new one is about to sing.

Amazing work! It looks fantastic! I can't wait to see it when it is all strung up.

Make sure to give us some more pics, I'm dying for a few more of this beauty.
