And my first using Brazilian rosewood.
This will be John Creech's second from me. It will have a nice Carpathian top. So far the sides are bent and the back is braced. I am gluing in the end block now and hopefully ill get the linings in tomorrow.

Dave, something not as edgy as an addy top, so we went with Carpathian.
I did a dread last year with a carp top and just loved the way it turned out. So we will try to do that again.

I have an OM with a Carp top and it impresses me as being very much like Adi without the 6 month break in period.

Waddy, we all have different experiences, and in your case, this reminded you of old, or Vintage.
I have spent hours and hours up at Elderlys playing many of there VERY old Martins, and although many of the old ones have the typical straight grained brw, I have seen my fair share of them with a more interesting figure.
That has been my experience.

Gimme a call sometime tonight if you get this message... sent you an e-mail regarding the back braces (specifically the height of the two lower bout braces-- wanted to ask you about leaving them tall versus shaving them down like traditional dreads) and didn't hear back yet. Was hoping to get in touch with you before the box goes together.

Also-- check your website... went to it today and it says it's been hacked by Cobra-something...
