    This tool also doubles nicely as a fret hammer.

Of course I always try to use the correct tool for the job

Hahaha,

I love the first picture. First you giggle at the fact that you're using a sledgehammer, then you notice the earmuffs used during the voicing process... glorious!

Did the beers in the second picture have anything to do with this new build process?

One question for you.

You have what looks like two lower tone bar braces positioned for a lefty but the cutaway is for a standard righty, trying something different?

Rod that`s very observant of you.The reason I wanted to try this was because since the cutaway part is missing I figured I could loosen up the top a bit on the cutaway side by the tone bars not being attached to the X brace,at least in the lower bout.I also considered just 1 finger brace in the upper bout on the cutaway side ,but chickened out after all the curly redwood explosion talk that`s been going around.Visually to me it makes since.Right now the top actually sound pretty darn good .We`ll see what happens.
