Well, as many have figured out, I'm working my way out of the tonewood business. I find I simply don't have the time to do it justice, and would rather concentrate my energies on finishing my accounting degree, and having a tiny bit of spare time to build an occasional guitar.

I'll be continuing as a sponsor on the OLF here through the end of November, and then my website will be running on its own for a few months following to clear out the remaining inventory.

With any luck, I will still offer some sets from time to time if I find great wood, but the NET website will eventually be absorbed by the guitar website. I'm not all that keen on having the two together, so I'll find some means of providing some separation if I can.

I still have some wood to cut and put up on my site, with some more cocobolo, mahogany, and ziricote among other stuff.
Oh - and some Insanely Quilted Sapele...

Thanks to all who have done business with me over the last year and a half or so! It's been a real pleasure serving you folks.

A special thank-you to Lance and Brock for this great site and the privilege of participating as both member vendor.

Don

<sigh> I'm just not a Cheese-head anymore. I mean, not in the Wisconsin sense, and I never was a Packers fan, but I gave up Cheez-It crackers several months ago when I decided to start eating more healthy and eliminate the junk food for the most part. I haven't had soda since May, and most junk food was left behind as well. As for Cheez-It, they remain my favorite cheese cracker, but I got sick of them after binging on them back in the Spring.

Thanks for the sentiments though Hesh!

Bob, I'll still be hanging around. I've always been a member first and vendor second.

Ah Peter, thanks for that generous offer. No doubt if I succumbed to the urge to allow others to help me out in similar fashion, I would be, well...woodless.

Alas, I must own up to the fact that such an ugly scrap of wood must be turned into a guitar by me rather than cursing some other poor unfortunate soul with it. Believe me, I've saved you a world of misery and anguish.

Accounting, eh? I just finished my masters in accounting from UT-Austin,
starting working in audit about two months ago. What route are you going
with accounting? Industry? Public?

I'm going where the money is...non-profit.

I've been through so many audits, I'd like to go at them from the other end one of these days and actually do them...it might be fun makin someone else sweat for a change!
