I was wondering lately...
I remember there was a thread a while ago where the Ryan A4 kerfing was discussed and then later in the thread it was offered for sale - I saw alot of people getting in on it, and I wanted to buy some badly as well, however I just couldnt afford it at the time!

I was wondering what the verdict was>?
Has anyone been building with it?
And what is thier opinion on it?
How well it compliments the instrument, how much more ease does it contribute to the kerfing stage of building the instrument, noticeable top resonance results? etc, etc
I figured there would have to be some reactions by now..
mabye there was a discussion and I missed it, I was away from the OLF for a while this summer,,,

Also, I still would like to purchase some for myself, being somewhat flush at the moment, did I miss the boat?
Or is there any way I could come by some without making my own?
Thanks in advance, for your input..
Cheers

Charlie,

I have some 3a and 4a kerfing I will send you for free if you pay the shipping. In fact I will sweep up the floor and get it ready for you tonight

Just joking with you of course I know you are referring to linings but there is an on going joke around her about kerfing. Kerfing being the the saw dust form making kerf cuts in linings. and being the wise mouth I am I could not resist

Michael beat me to it...

On another forum I frequent, there is a guy who collects all the photos
of builders who happen to catch their feet in the shot.  You can
tell a lot about a person from their footware....or sockware....or nail
care.

Charlie, since you are so flush can you share some with the rest of us??  I'll take a fifty!

As to the linings, I'll let the others fill you in.

I started that thread.... Kevin is still working on the details. I will find out soon what the final decision will be on selling the A4 kerfing.
