Hi all,
a while ago I started a thread about a 00-42 Im making, with ziricote, ivorystyle bridge and bling-bling. Thanks all for your nice recommendations
in that thread!

Here is its country cousin, the more plain 0028. The back is fourpiece brw, top is red spruce and well, the rest is pretty obviuos... Finish is nitro... Scale is 25.5 and its got a compound radius, 10 to 16"... Its a really nice fingerstule guitar, very loud and even, and sustains forever!

Thanks boys, she sings soo sweet! Very fat warm trebles, nice overtones that makes me want to play it slooowly... I have to say, this is the one for me! if I ever can afford to build myself a guitar, its going to be like this one...

I am beginning to really like these smaller guitars; this one is especially stunning.

Wow!  That is a beautiful instrument.  I really like the wedge.  That took a lot of skill to execute correctly and you really did it well.

Your work is always so refined Lars, yet another exceptional guitar. Well Done!

Thank you all for the nice comments, every detail cant be seen in the pictures so its all about choosing the right ones... Funny thing about the butt wedge is, its the best miters ive ever done, and all are on the first try! Some times all just fall into place, and sometimes you cant get it right in a hundred tries. I think consistensy is what separate a pro from a "newbie"(15 or 20 guitars into the game) like me...

Next one is another step up the ladder, my first go for a style 42. Im really thrilled about it!

Another vote for how you handle the wedge...man that is just classy! Lovely guitar, really nice.

So can I ask this question - do you attribute the great sound solely to the brazilian rosewood? Is this guitar that much different than others you've built?

The 00 12 is a sweet little shape.
I would like a bit more help with the obvious stuff:
the "white" in your purfling/rosette looks nearly tan,
almost like Koa, or a dark maple.
Perhaps it's the finish, maybe the lighting.
Whatever, it's a lovely look, and I'm interested in what you used.

Bill, I wouldnt say I can attribute the sound entirely to the braz, although it was really ringy... All parts of the construction impacts on sound, it has laminated rims, and adirondack top bracing(w hhg) the way I learned when working with Dana Bourgeois. It also has a all bolt-on neck, a very solid construction in the upper bout. Its not a light weight guitar due to the lam rims and big heelblock consrtuction, but it still moves very freely.

Steve, the puflings are indeed maple, but the picture was taken in the shop, so it was a really yellow light. Some of the purfs are from Karin Rost, and some stewmac.

The ivoroid was really hard to find, since it has some overseas shipping restrictions, but I finally tried martins 1833 shop and it worked just fine, no problems with shipping.

Nothing to add, nothing to take away - perfect.
