I bought this from Bob a couple of years ago and set it aside waiting for the right client/project. Finally things came together and here's the result. It's an Engelmann/Quilted Sapele 13 fret 00. 5 piece laminated neck, mahog./flamed maple/EIR/flamed maple/mahog.The lacquer is just about cured, so I hope to be able to buff it out this weekend.

It will have an ebony pyramid bridge and Gold Gotoh 510's with the small black knobs. The pictures don't show the binding/purfling detail very well, but it has BRW binding with b/red/w/b and a burled red maple rosette with the same purfling scheme. The burl also came from Bob C. He has some really nice stuff. Thanks for looking.

Jimmy - Very nice work.  But I thought that blue finger boards were out this year?

Really, it looks very fine.

Wow, that Sapele looks as deep as the ocean, and has as many waves.  Great looking guitar coming into being there.

Jimmy, you never disappoint us.
I'd love to see some more close-ups.
That neck looks a perfect match for the Sapele.

Jimmy, that is one pretty machine you got going.

I like the little squiggle under the C logo.

I also like the rounded fretboard.
